Project implementation and supervision for the Moldova Solid Waste Project

Objectives:

The overall objective of the Assignment is to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the Project by providing assistance to the Client and the Regional Operator, as appropriate.

Activities:

Assistance with Capacity Building of the PIU

• Development and Implementation of a Training Plan
• Establishment of PIU Operating Procedures particular to the EBRD Project

Assistance with Procurement, Tendering and Contract implementation

• Procurement Support (Procurement and Contracting Strategy; Procurement Plan; Development of Client/Employer’s requirements; Studies; Obtaining of approvals by authorities; Support during the preparation of Procurement Documents; Support during the procurement process; Support during the evaluation process; Support during contract finalization; Supervision of supply of goods and related services contracts; Supervision of the works contracts
