Objective:

The overall objective of the project of which this service contract is a part is to contribute to the entrenchment of democracy and the culture of dialogue and peace in Ivory Coast through the increasing and effective participation of CSOs, and through them, citizens, in the political, economic and social life of the country. The specific objective of this service contract is the establishment of a Project Management Unit (PMU) to carry out the necessary activities.

Activities:

Project management support and technical assistance:

• Support to the organization and functioning of the Concertation Framework provided for in the National Development Plan (NDP); Support to the reinforcement of the dialogue between the EU and the CSOs, in particular on public policies and reforms supported by the EU-Ivory Coast cooperation; Institutional support to the Regional Civil Society Support Centers (CRASC); Technical, administrative and financial management of the project.

Democratic Governance, Peace and Conflict Prevention:

• Support to micro-initiatives of accompaniment by the civil society of the actions forming part of the EU-Ivory Coast cooperation related to various topics such as peace and conflict prevention.
